Self-adhesive label applicator STS808

STS808 is a labeling machine produced by STS Electronics and is intended for small and medium production processes. The capacity of the device is between 400 and 650 products per hour , the performance depending on the speed with which the operator changes the containers since it is a semi-automatic device. The diameter of the container is also an important factor, the smaller it is, the shorter the application time. To apply labels on the front and back, they must be printed alternately on the roll, the first applied label can be adjusted manually. The STS808 label applicator has a key advantage over its competitors, namely the ultrasonic label detection sensor . Thanks to the sensor, the device can use any type of label and liner , even with transparent label and liner . The sensor is contactless resulting in 0% loss of quality and high precision that will not limit the thickness of the label used.

Instructions for use:

Select the orientation of the container (left/right) according to the direction of the printed labels. The pressure mechanism and the support shaft are adjusted according to the diameter of the container. Adjust the limiters so that the container is in the middle of the work area. The roll of labels is fixed so that the labels are directed towards the adhesive area. The position is fixed by 2 magnetic stops. The brake is positioned in the middle of the roller. The pressure shaft is unlocked by pushing it. The label bar is loaded and the pressure axis is blocked. The straightener of the label tape is positioned and fixed to the edges without forcing it. The ultrasonic sensor is prepared first without the label and then on the label. Preparation is done by keeping the "teach" button pressed until the "T" LED lights up.
