Product warranty

I. General warranty conditions

  1. Consumer rights are in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 296/2005 and 449/2003.
  2. Warranty period granted for the products starts from the date of purchase and is extended accordingly with the period in which the product is in service in the specific procedures, from the date of registration of the warranty request and until the date of the product's return to the customer.
  3. Products that replace other defective products benefit from a new warranty period, identical to that of the replaced product, a term that begins to run from the date the customer takes possession of the product.
  4. Accessories and options may have a different warranty than the one of the product, according to the specifications in the documentation that accompanies the product.
  5. The warranty does not extend to consumables.
  6. The warranty period for accumulators or batteries type products is 3 months.
  7. The warranty is granted to the products presented in the service in the original packaging together with all the accessories with which it was received in the package, accompanied by a copy of the invoice and the original warranty certificate, as well as the intact identification elements (serial number or the original packaging - if only this is mentioned).
  8. Unpackaged products are not accepted under warranty.
  9. The warranty is only valid on the territory of Romania.

II. Warranty granted to computers, storage devices and network equipment

  1. The average duration of use is 3 years during which spare parts and post-warranty repairs are provided. Options (batteries, power supplies, peripherals) may have a lower warranty than the basic system. Portable computer batteries have a 6-month warranty, regardless of the system's warranty period.
  2. In none of the cases of hardware product failure, our company can be held responsible for data loss. It is recommended that the consumer plan a cycle of saving a backup copy of the data.
  3. The guarantee does not include the incompatibility of the guaranteed system with different software applications.

III. Warranty granted to liquid crystal monitors, their video projectors and televisions

  1. The average duration of use is 5 years during which spare parts and post-warranty repairs are provided. Options (batteries, power supplies, peripherals) may have a shorter warranty than the basic system.
  2. The warranty does not cover damage to fragile subassemblies (lamps, screen, lenses, other glass components).
  3. Monitors, TFT displays and laptop screens that have less than 5 defective pixels according to ISO 13406-2 class II are not considered defective.

IV. Warranty granted to thermal printers

  1. The average duration of use is 5 years during which spare parts and post-warranty repairs are provided. Options (batteries, power supplies, peripherals) may have a shorter warranty than the basic system.
  2. Products or component parts are guaranteed for the period specified in the warranty certificate or 100 km printed (whichever comes first) from the date purchase with the exception of the print head, consumables and accessories that may have a different warranty than the product, according to the specifications in the documentation that accompanies the product or according to the clauses in point IV.3, IV.4.
  3. It is guaranteed the printhead of the printer for a period of 6 months or 30km printed (whichever comes first) in the case of printing by thermal transfer with ribbon. In case of direct thermal printing, without using the ribbon, the print head is guaranteed for a period of 3 months or 5 km printed (whichever comes first).
  4. The automatic paper/label cutter is guaranteed for a the period of 6 months or 1,000,000 cuts (whichever comes first) as long as it does not show signs of roughness or improper use.

V. Loss of warranty

The product warranty is considered lost in the following cases:

  1. The devices do not have the labels and intact seals.
  2. Non-compliance by the buyer with the transport, handling, installation, use and maintenance conditions specified in the leaflets and instructions that accompany the product upon delivery and of which the buyer has become aware.
  3. Devices have defects caused by shocks, improper operating conditions, high humidity conditions, use in areas with sudden temperature changes, in places with vibrations, dust, smoke or chemical and toxic substances.
  4. Non-compliance with the parameters power supply specified in the instructions for use (eg. supply voltage, grounding, temperature, ambient environment).
  5. Using the equipment for purposes or conditions other than those specified in the accompanying documentation.
  6. Using the equipment in conditions of wear or continuous operation over allowed limits.
  7. Breaking or bending of equipment components.

VI. DOA/DAP products

  1. Products that are found to be defective at the time of sale (DOA) or that are returned as defective by the customer within 7 days from the time of purchase (DAP) will be replaced with new identical products and if this is not possible, the provisions of point VII.3 letter shall apply. b or c below.
  2. Scratches or damage to removable or non-removable elements due to mechanical or thermal shocks that were not reported within 24 hours of receiving the products will not be covered by the warranty.

VII. Resolution deadlines

  1. The diagnosis, the method of remediation as well as the estimated deadline for the completion of the remediation will be presented to the customer within a maximum of 3 working days from the receipt of the products.
  2. The resolution of the guarantee is within a maximum of 15 calendar days.
  3. If at the expiration of the term specified in point VII.2, the complained defect is not remedied, one of the following measures shall be applied, in the order mentioned:
    • Replacement with a new, identical product;
    • Returning the value of the product;
    • If there is no identical product and you do not want to return the value of the product, the replacement is made with a new product with the same characteristics and performance slightly similar to those of the original product and only with the customer's consent.
