RAM Mount universal phone holder, Tough Claw

The RAM Mount Tough Claw universal support allows the attachment of mobile phones, MP3-players and similar devices to the handlebars of the motorcycle or bicycle. The device is made up of a short fixing clip, universal X-Grip fastening system and a connecting element between the two components. The package also includes a rubber cover recommended for using the stand outdoors.

The main features of the RAM Mount Tough Claw are:

• the base allows the device to be oriented at different angles;
• the grip elements are rubberized, for a firm fixation of the phone;
• the X-Grip system expands and contracts, so it is useful for a wide range of devices;
• all components are robust, made of high strength composite and stainless steel.

The clamp can be fixed on tubular surfaces with a diameter of 15.87 mm - 38.1 mm. It can also be used for fixing on flat surfaces with a thickness of up to 28.6 mm.

The X-Grip system supports devices with the following sizes: minimum width: 4.8 cm; maximum width: 8.3 cm; depth: 2.2 cm.

The universal RAM Mount Tough Claw is compatible with devices such as: Apple iPhone (3G, 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5c, 5s, 6), Apple iPod touch, Samsung Galaxy (S3, S4, S5, S6). The models were tested both with and without the protective cover.
