The main and most frequently used type of fabric to create textile labels is Taffeta. This fabric is the most basic of textile fabrics, it has a smooth and simple appearance that can be combined from several types of fibers.

Armor tape ATN802 is a polyamide fabric made from nylon/polyester-taffeta fiber. The nylon/polyester fiber gives the material an excellent resistance to abrasion and thanks to the extra coating it has, it allows it to withstand several textile manufacturing processes such as washing, ironing, dry cleaning and at the same time, the nylon/ polyester-taffeta provides high resistance to heat and dries quickly. Also, this layered fiber can be found on both sides of the label.
