Jabra

Jabra

Jabra is a Danish brand specialized in audio equipment and more recently videoconferencing systems. It designs, manufactures and markets wireless, wired and wireless headphones for consumers and business customers.

In 2006, GN consolidated its headset division for Contact Center and Office under the Jabra brand. This was followed by a restructuring in 2008, which established two divisions within Jabra, later called Enterprise and Consumer, thus facilitating a greater focus on business-to-business markets.

GN Group was also responsible for several developments, including the installation of the first intercontinental telegraph connections, the development of 2.4 GHz technology in hearing aids for direct connectivity, and the production of the world's first iPhone hearing aid with direct stereo sound streaming.
