ITG AgriScan - counting scans with mobile terminals in agriculture

ITG AgriScan is a software solution for scanning barcodes and RFID tags in agriculture, especially in livestock farms, usable on mobile terminals. The solution has two components: an application for the mobile terminal and an application for the PC.

With the help of the front-office application (from the mobile terminal), identify the animals for subsequent operations (records, veterinary control, supply to certain partners, etc.). The software can be used both for scanning barcodes and RFID tags. Users are informed on the spot if a code is identified (it is part of the database) or if it has been scanned before, to avoid duplicate readings. The list of captured callsigns is permanently visible on the terminal.

The back-office application (for PC) facilitates sending to the mobile terminal an Excel file containing the list of barcodes or RFID codes to be scanned and which is used as a database. Through scanning and validation, the information in the database is updated. To be added to the initial Excel file, the back-office application also performs the synchronization operation with the PC.

The advantages of using the ITG AgriScan software solution are:

• adaptable to work procedures already used, regardless of whether you use barcodes or RFID tags;
• the ability to import and export Excel files for further processing.

The back-office application works on Windows operating systems, the oldest supported version being Windows XP. It is necessary to have Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed.

ITG AgriScan front-office runs on Zebra Workabout Pro 4 mobile terminals and the Agrident AIR300 module.

The displayed price is for 1 license for the mobile terminal, the license for the synchronization application is free. The delivery is done electronically, by e-mail, and the license can be managed from the online interface. The package contains the software solution, the documentation and the complete and detailed manual for installation and use. Installation, training or customization services are not included.
