The Honeywell 8610 ring scanner is a ring-shaped 1D barcode reader that can be worn on the fingers of workers, both on the right hand and on the left hand. Honeywell 8610 ring scanner is compatible with the Honeywell Dolphin 70e Wearable mobility solution (Dolphin 70e mobile terminal combined with a special rubber support for fixing on the arm) and can be connected to this solution via a cable.
Being a small, comfortable and lightweight portable device, the Honeywell 8610 ring scanner allows workers to scan barcodes with ease, while keeping their hands free for routine tasks. Operators thus gain freedom of movement and flexibility, and the company benefits from increased productivity and reduced labor costs.
The scanner is powered directly from the 70e terminal.
The Honeywell 8610 cannot be used independently of the Honeywell 70e.
