Evidea's mobile application allows the insertion and editing of assets from any place, being useful for staff working outside the office. Evidei allows taking pictures of barcodes directly in the application using the phone's camera, but recommends the use of a scanner attached to the mobile terminal for greater precision and efficiency in the process of entering or editing data. 1D, 2D or RFID barcodes can be read through the mobile application. For increased security, the mobile application stores the data on the micro-SD card of the phone, the data being safe even if the mobile terminal is damaged.

TAGS

Each asset is assimilated in the application through a barcode, be it 1D, 2D or RFID. Each code is unique, having an inventory code and an assimilated name.
These tags can also be used to register rooms in a building.
The tags can be printed easily from the Evidei desktop application, only needing to select the asset or group of assets, the format of the label and the number of labels. This process requires a thermal transfer printer.

Structure

Assets can be classified according to several physical or logical criteria.
An asset can be cataloged from a physical point of view, for example in which department an asset is located, in which building or on which floor.
The logical criteria of assets can be, for example, the person responsible for that asset, the type of asset or the project in which that asset is used.

All these criteria help to identify your company's assets more quickly.
