Datalogic PM9600 power/communication cradle

The BC9600-433 cradle is used for charging the readers but also for radio frequency communication between the Datalogic barcode readers and the computer.

The BC9600-433 creates a wireless reading system for collecting, decoding and transmitting data when paired with one or more PowerScan PM9600 barcode readers. It can be connected to a host PC via RS-232, USB, USB type C or Ethernet interfaces, depending on the interchangeable connection module.

With the adoption of Wireless Power Transfer technology, the cradle can charge the reader's battery without contact, with a performance that depends on the type of power used.

The cradle has LED indicators and a touch button. When the button is pressed for 2 seconds, all barcode readers configured, properly powered on and connected to the same cradle will emit a sound and light signal within 5 seconds. This function is useful to check which readers are connected to a certain base station and to detect lost readers.
