Datalogic PBT9600 power/communication cradle

The BC9600-BT cradle is used for charging the readers but also for radio frequency communication between the Datalogic PBT9600 barcode readers and the computer.

The BC9600-BT creates a wireless reading system for collecting, decoding and transmitting data when paired with one or more PowerScan PBT9600 barcode readers.

With the adoption of Wireless Power Transfer technology, the cradle can charge the reader's battery without contact, with a performance that depends on the type of power used.

The cradle has LED indicators and a touch button. When the button is pressed for 2 seconds, all barcode readers configured, properly powered on and connected to the same cradle will emit a sound and light signal within 5 seconds. This function is useful to check which readers are connected to a certain base station and to detect lost readers.
