Epson ColorWorks C831

Epson ColorWorks C831 is an industrial color printer that uses Micro Piezo inkjet printing technology, it is designed for large format drum labels and for GHS chemicals.

The printer uses continuous paper and punched labels up to 241 mm wide, and with the tractor feed system it combines the best of dot matrix and inkjet technologies.

Unlike dot matrix printers, the C831 can print complex barcodes, clear text and photos at up to 5,760 x 1,440 DPI resolution and can be used with a variety of print media, including paper and glossy labels. Regardless of the support used, Epson DURABrite Ultra pigment-based ink creates durable prints that resist water, stains, light and certain solvents.

The Epson ColorWorks C831 is made of quality materials, with a durable housing, it is designed to provide up to five years of high-volume printing performance. Epson's patented technology protects the print heads from dust, making the C831 a suitable model for tough working conditions.

To help increase efficiency, the ColorWorks C831 prints up to 19.7 pages per minute in Super Draft mode and clears paper jams in seconds by automatically releasing paper when an error occurs. This system is supported by a button for manual paper release.

The Epson ColorWorks C831 comes standard with Parallel, USB and Ethernet interfaces to simplify integration.
