Rewritable printing: how it works and why we need it.

The Tattoo RW printer does not require ribbon, but rewritable cards. These cards contain a thermochromic material that becomes visible or invisible, depending on the applied temperature.

RW technology is ideal whenever the data changes many times for the same holder or when you want to use the same card for different people:

• Loyalty cards: change the number of loyalty points, add promotions and special offers directly to the card
• Visitor badges: reuse the same badge by changing the name of the person, the name of the company, and the date of the visit
