It works on the basis of supercapacitors and is able to achieve a full charge in less than two minutes via the USB port and under 60 seconds when an external power source is used, thus allowing the performance of at least 490 scans of UPC codes /EAN without reloading.

The Honeywell Xenon Performance 1952h-bf is ideal for moderate scanning applications such as medication administration or sample collection. With the help of supercapacitors, a common maintenance problem is eliminated, and the barcode reader is lighter and more ecological.

It is equipped with a DRH (Disinfectant Ready Housing) housing, which uses a hard and resistant plastic, created to withstand frequent cleaning with concentrated substances, without affecting the life of the terminal. The DRH case allows cleaning and disinfection with over 30 different cleaning solutions, such as: germicidal wipes from Sani-Cloth, 75% medicinal alcohol, substances obtained from a mixture of 10% chlorine and 90% water, disinfectant wipes, and many others .
